George Raymond Stevenson or just Ray Stevenson is an actor from Northern Ireland. He was widely known for his roles in films such as King Arthur, The Musketeers, The Punisher: Territory of War, Divergent, and others.
The actor also performs on the stage and starred in television projects. In 2013, he was nominated for the American Saturn Award for his work on the Dexter television series.
Biography
Born May 25, 1964 in Lisburn, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, Ray Stevenson is the second of three sons of the Royal Air Force pilot and his wife, Irish. In 1972, when Ray turned eight years old, his family decided to move to the industrial English city of Leamington.

Stevenson, who has been dreaming of an acting career since childhood, graduated from the Old Vic School of Bristol Theater, where he received a master's degree.
Career and creativity
Ray Stevenson's professional career began in 1993, when he appeared as a journalist in the drama television series The Women's Guide to Infidelity. A year later, the aspiring actor was approved for one of the leading roles in the British mini-series "On Smoldering Coals."
In 1995, he made his debut in the feature film "It's called Life." The actor played the main character named Steve, whose life changes after the accident. On the set of this picture, Stevenson worked with such British movie stars as Gwen Taylor, Jane Horrocks and Matthew Lewis.

The next few years, the actor actively starred in television series. So, between 1995 and 1996, he played the role of Steve Dixon in the multi-part crime drama "The Gang of Gold", which was broadcast by the British television network for free broadcasting ITV.

In 1998, Ray Stevenson joined the cast of the BBC downtown television series, followed by roles in the television series Holby City, Love in the 21st Century, Real Women II, Homes with Brightweights, Resurrecting Dead, "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Murphy's Law."
