The future theater and film actor Valery Mikhailovich Priyykhov was born on one of the New Year's days - December 26, 1943. This event took place in the city of Belogorsk, located in the Amur Region. The early childhood of little Valera was in the war years. After the war, he, like all other children, went to school. He did not even dream about an acting career.
The teenage years and the beginning of the creative path
After leaving school and as a student, he worked part-time as a worker. He graduated from the Far Eastern Pedagogical Institute of Arts (theater department) in 1966. By distribution, he served in the Drama Theater. Krupskaya, located in the city of Frunze. Valery worked there for about 3 years, and then decided to move to Moscow.
In the capital, he entered the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography at the screenwriting faculty. He lived in a student dormitory, at the same time he worked as a stoker. Valery was always a good student, he prepared diligently for classes.
Later, he also worked part time at the Ushinsky library. To this position he was supposed to have a separate housing - a small janitorial. where he moved from a student dormitory. In addition to work, in his student years he found little time to read books and tried himself as a writer.
Already being a famous actor, he worked as editor-in-chief at the Gorky Film Studio. He was a member of the jury of the I-IV Student Film Competitions for the awards of St. Anne.
The personal life of the actor
From 1983 to 1987, he was married to actress Olga Mashna. The second time he married Lyubov Shutova (met on the set of the movie "Pants" in 1988.
The actor has two children:
- from the first actual marriage daughter Nina;
- son born in 1989 from a relationship with a journalist.
The actor died of a brain tumor in the early morning of August 25, 2000. At the time of death, the actor was only 56 years old. He was buried in Moscow at the Kuntsevo cemetery.
