Good is free aid provided by one person to another. It may be material or spiritual, but it always assumes that the creator of good gives something away from himself. But what is the point, why does a person do good without expecting anything in return?

A person is a social being, therefore he sensitively reacts to those changes, positive or negative, that occur next to him in the social environment. A normal person, adapted to society, perceives other people's sufferings subconsciously as his own, they are physically unbearable to him. Scientists conducted experiments with newborn babies, and it was found that healthy and well-fed babies often begin to cry when they hear the crying of their neighbor who is hungry or sick. It turns out that it is good that is the inborn need of man. Of course, there are evil and selfish people, but this can be attributed to the lack of education or even genetic pathology. After all, in fact, giving selflessly, a person experiences a kind of euphoria, at these moments there is a release of a certain amount of hormones of joy - endorphin and serotonin into the blood. Sociologists say that human society lives by the rule of reciprocal exchange, according to which each person tries to repay in a similar way for what the other person provided. Life in human society implies cooperation, it was it that helped people survive in prehistoric times. By the same principle: “you - to me, I - to you”, many other biological species live on Earth, ensuring their survival. Good gives rise to positive energy, which attracts something like that - positive thoughts, longevity, health, happiness and prosperity. Peace of mind and harmony with the outside world - this is actually the value of the good that a person commits. Therefore, we can say that he does good not entirely disinterestedly - he feels pleasure and satisfaction from these actions. This is the payment for the good, which can hardly be expressed in monetary terms, it is truly priceless. A person does good because he subconsciously realizes that as he treats the world around him, so the world will relate to him.
