The next presidential election in the United States will be held on November 6, 2012, and a couple of the main opponents are already known to them. In early autumn, the Republican Party officially nominated Mitt Romney as the candidate, and the Democratic - Barack Obama. Preliminary forecasts of the outcome of the vote indicate victory with a slight margin of the incumbent president.

The predicted number of Americans who are going to vote for an opponent of Barack Obama is only a few percent less than the number of his supporters. However, this does not mean at all that almost half of the population has really serious claims against the current US president. Today, the economic situation of the citizens of this country cannot be called really bad, so they make a choice between good and even better options. Nevertheless, claims to Obama exist, since the decisions of the president acting in conditions of the global financial crisis are aimed at reducing the incomes of certain groups of the population. There are claims to his political program among those who consider the conservative course more preferable for the development of the United States.
The most serious arguments of the opponents of Obama are related to the domestic economic situation. The president is blamed for the increase in unemployment during his term from 7.7% to 8.3%. This problem mainly affected people with a low level of education and was largely the result of the transfer of the production of many goods from the USA to China. And rich Americans got another reason to be unhappy. For example, many insurance companies and well-paid doctors will lose part of their income after the adoption of the law on health care reform. The implementation of this reform was the election promise of a black president, and the enacted law, in particular, obliges all Americans to obtain an insurance certificate. It is paid in the USA, and about 10 million citizens do not want to withdraw the necessary amount from their budget. Experts believe that the adoption of the law should reduce the cost of insurance, and this will significantly reduce the income of the companies selling them.
Other reasons for dissatisfaction with the incumbent president are people with certain religious views, for example, his support for the universal legalization of same-sex marriage and his support for women's rights to abortion.
