Peter Allen David was born on September 23, 1956 in New Jersey. His paternal grandparents emigrated from Germany to the United States in the 1930s. David has younger brothers Wally and sister Beth.
Peter's family often moved. First in New Jersey, from Bloomfield to Verona, and then to Pennsylvania. For almost 20 years, the wife of the screenwriter was Myra Kasman. Their wedding took place in 1977. Peter has two children - Ariel David and Guinevere David.
Career and creativity
Peter fell in love with flipping magazines with stories in pictures since childhood. And thoughts of writing arose at his youthful age. At age 12, he read manuals for future prose writers and dreamed of becoming a reporter. Perhaps the profession of his father Gunther, who was a journalist, played a role in this desire.
