Any citizen of the Russian Federation today can write to the president. This opportunity is provided to everyone who wants to ask for help in considering issues that are not resolved at other levels of government. A letter can be sent by mail or electronically, using a special service on the Internet. Of course, it must meet some requirements.

To get started, choose the most convenient option for you to send a letter based on the capabilities and wishes of the sender. Often, people who cannot use email or find it a more reliable way to send a message by regular mail ask for the address.

For a mail message, indicate on the envelope the following address: 103132, Moscow, Russia, ul. Ilyinka, d. 23. Write the text of the letter by hand or type on the computer. Of course, a printed form of appeal is preferred, but in writing it will be accepted for consideration. The requirements for the text of the message can be found on the website http://letters.kremlin.ru/. The main one is the indication of your own surname, name and patronymic, postal address for communication.

You can send an email by clicking on the link http://letters.kremlin.ru/send. Here you need to fill out a special form in which you will be asked to fill in the active fields, answering standard questions. You will need to provide the last name, first name, email address, indicate the country and region, select the addressee (president or presidential administration), the subject of the appeal and place the text of the letter (up to 2000 characters). And besides, you can attach a file that will help reveal the essence of your appeal.

Check the status of your appeal by going to the help information page http://letters.kremlin.ru/status. Here you can, by filling in the active fields of a small questionnaire, send a request on the progress of the consideration of your letter to the Office of the President of the Russian Federation. An answer will be sent to your email address indicated in the request.

Your letter will not be considered if it contains obscene language and offensive language; have an invalid address; addressed not to the President of Russia and not to the Presidential Administration; not broken down into sentences and or typed entirely in capital letters; will not contain statements, complaints, suggestions.
