Instruction manual
1
In accordance with the law on winter time adopted by the State Duma, 11 time zones are formed in the country. Prior to this, there was 9. A third zone will appear, to which the Samara and Udmurt regions will be assigned. In these regions, time will be one hour ahead of Moscow. Kemerovo region will enter the 6 hour zone. Here the clock hands will not be translated, the time difference with Moscow will be 4 hours. The Kamchatka Territory and the Chukotka Autonomous Region will begin to belong to the 11-hour region. Residents of this zone will live with Moscow with a difference of 9 hours, now the difference is 8 hours.
2
For other regions of Russia, the transfer of arrows will be carried out on the night of October 26. Exactly at 02:00 Moscow time, the hands will be transferred 1 hour ago. There will be no reverse daylight saving time in the spring of 2015. The Russians will live in winter time all year round.
3
Switching to winter and summer time was last canceled in 2011, in the spring, after switching hands to daylight saving time.
4
The main argument for the transfer of time from ancient times was economic feasibility. Many decades ago, this fact was significant. Today, when electricity is necessary for the life of mankind for 24 hours, this is not worth talking about.
5
Some analysts believe that the switch of hands to winter time can affect a person’s ability to work. Some of them believe that the accident rate on roads and at enterprises will be reduced. Scientists also talk about the dangers of this procedure. For some, an extra hour for sleep will be good news, for others, a translation of the hands, an extra drop of stress. Turning the arrows on October 26, 2014, we will understand who is right.
