A young Nizhny Novgorod designer Pavel Ryabinin appeared unexpectedly in the fashion industry, but immediately took his place of honor among the venerable Russian clothing designers. Pavel preaches femininity, gentleness and plasticity with his models, believing that girls and women should be just that.
Biography
Pavel Ryabinin was born in Nizhny Novgorod in 1984. He grew up an ordinary boy, except that he liked to consider clothing models in glossy magazines. He just looked at the pictures, not suspecting that sometime his dresses would show off in the same magazines and on Internet portals.
In one interview, Pavel admitted that at that time he didn’t even know how to draw, not to mention designing, although the first images of some models were already in his head.
After the school, the future designer was waiting for the biological faculty of the university and work in Rosprirodnadzor. When Pavel realized that this was not what he wanted to do, he decided to start steps towards his childhood dream.
He had no idea what to do and where to start. Fortunately, the Academy of Fashionable Technologies was then in Nizhny Novgorod, where Pavel went to study. There he learned everything that a designer should be able to: sketching, sewing and designing. At that time, Ryabinin even created his first collection, which consisted of five dresses.
Design career
He decided to go to the Nizhny Novgorod competition "Silver Thread" with one of his models and won first place. The same victory awaited him at a competition in Moscow.
These successes inspired, but they could not help the young designer somehow advance. He faced a choice: to remain at his main job or to completely go free swimming. Pave chose the second - quit and got registered on the labor exchange.
At that time, there was a small business support program in the region, according to which entrepreneurs were allocated a certain amount to start their own business. Ryabinin took advantage of this program, rented an office and began advising on style. He advertised on the Internet, people found him and were very pleased with his advice.
Pavel didn’t just tell which clothes would be most suitable for the girl — he developed an exclusive model for her, and it was very valuable. Gradually came ideas of cooperation with beauty salons, ateliers and fashion magazines.
A happy incident brought Ryabinin to the owner of a fashion magazine, Ekaterina Chudakova, who invited him to become the chief editor of her magazine. As a media representative, Pavel was now at fashion shows and increasingly became convinced that this was his element.
Gradually, the idea came to use the motives of the Nizhny Novgorod crafts in the models, and Ryabinin went around the region to watch, sketch, bring to his work.
These trips yielded results: Pavel drew sketches, designer Maria Borisenkova turned them into drawings, and after a short time the new Oriole collection already participated in the Miss Nizhny Novgorod 2013 contest.
Ryabinin's models were liked by the public, and soon he created two similar collections.
Soon after this contest, Pavel resigned from the position of editor-in-chief of the magazine, as there was not enough time for everything. He devoted himself entirely to creating dress models.
Today, the famous brand "Dresses of Pavel Ryabinin" is known not only in Russia. With the help of modern communications, they learned about the talented designer in other countries, and now feminine models are scattered around the world.
Ryabinin’s plans include developing “on all fronts” as much as possible, and he’s not going to stop there.
