The famous actor Papanov Anatoly had an extraordinary fate, it can be called difficult. But, despite this, he always remained optimistic.

Early years, youth
Anatoly Dmitrievich was born on October 31, 1922. His hometown is Vyazma (Smolensk region). Anatoly's father was an officer, his mother worked in an atelier. In 1930, the Papanovs moved to the capital. My father was fond of theater, participated in amateur productions. From him, Anatoly took over interest in theatrical art.
Papanov did not study very well at school. Then he began to work at the factory as a caster, and in his spare time he attended a theater studio. Anatoly later went through auditions and joined the troupe of the Working Youth Theater, where he quickly became a star.
During the war, Papanov was an artilleryman and commanded a platoon. In one of the heavy battles, Anatoly nearly died. In 1942 he was commissioned. Anatoly later created a creative team, they performed in hospitals in front of wounded soldiers.
Returning to Moscow, Papanov decided to enter GITIS. He was credited immediately to the 2nd year. Anatoly graduated in 1946.
Creative career
Papanov received job offers from the Moscow Art Theater, the Maly Theater, but left for Lithuania with his young wife. There he began to work in the drama center of the city of Klaipeda.
In 1948, the actor was offered to work in the troupe of the Satire Theater, and the couple returned to the capital. Papanov managed to play the main role only in 1954, before that he had the role of secondary characters. Performances with his participation became successful.
In 1962, the artist was invited to the complex play "House, where hearts are broken." The actors offered the audience a television version of the play. In 1987, Papanov tried himself as a director, staging the play "The Last".
The actor began to act in films far from immediately, for a long time he could not freely stay on the set. His first work was the role in the film "Lenin in October", then there was an episode in the film "Foundling". Decades later, comedies “The Apple of Discord”, “Come Tomorrow”, where the actor’s talent is manifested, were released.
In 1963, Papanov starred in the drama Living and the Dead, playing the general. The actor became famous, he was awarded the prize for Best Actor. Later there were filming in the movie "Children of Don Quixote." "Stitch paths", "Native blood."
Papanov was very successful in both dramatic and comedic roles. The audience especially remembered his characters in the film "Watch Out for the Car", "12 Chairs", "Gentlemen of Fortune", "Diamond Arm". Many phrases of the actor became winged.
Papanov worked a lot at the dubbing studio. The famous in the Soviet animation was the creative duet of Anatoly Dmitrievich and Rumyanova Klara, who voiced the film "Well, wait a minute!"
The actor died on August 5, 1987. The cause was a heart attack.
