The biography of Obid Aznamovich Asomov began in Tashkent in 1963. The boy was born on October 22 in the quarter where the Muslim population lives, the city mahalla. There passed the childhood of the future celebrity.
Carier start
At first, the brothers Obid and Sabid spoke Uzbek. However, thanks to the father who worked as a guide, the children began to read and speak Russian. Great-great-grandfather Obida was a polyglot, because the head of the family encouraged the craving for languages in children. The boy was carried away in the comedy genre in childhood. He liked the performances of the famous Arkady Raikin, Mikhail Zhvanetsky.
Monologues of Obid translated into Uzbek, slightly corrected and turned into successful numbers for school performances. In addition to artistic talent, the boy drew beautifully. Asomov even planned to receive education in this area. He dreamed of becoming a professional artist.
After graduating from school, the graduate entered the art school, successfully completed his studies at it. At the same time, the enthusiasm for the conversational genre was not abandoned. To earn money on paints and other supplies necessary for the artist, Obid often led weddings. After school, the guy entered the Moscow State Moscow Art Theater named after Surikov, but the attempt failed.
The next year, the young man did not dare to leave Tashkent, but entered the local theater and art institute in the department of book graphics. The activity of the host did not stop. Resentment began speaking on local television with humorous numbers.
Filmmaking
In 1985, the young artist was awarded the title of Laureate of the Republican Comedy Competition. The attention to the promising actor was drawn by the famous director Latif Fayziev. He invited Asomov to star in his film "According to the Law of the Jungle."
The joint Indian-Soviet film was a turning point in the creative biography of the guy. Asomov did not want to refuse to participate in the film, but the work required constant traveling. At the institute, the student took academic leave, but subsequently never returned to study. Thanks to the film, he gained popularity. This opened the way to cinema.
Tours began in the republic. Initially, Sabid performed with his brother. In the late eighties, Obid met with Mikhail Zadornov. Out of curiosity, the former artist on tour in Tashkent attended a concert by a colleague. The meeting with Igor Khristenko has grown into a real friendship for many years. For almost two decades, Obid worked in the ensemble of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, although due to the very low (160 cm) growth, Asomov was not taken into the army. After the ensemble, from which the artist left the major rank, there was television.
In 2000, Obidu was offered the job by the head of the Yalla ensemble Farukh Zakirov. Asomov became the leader in the tour of the ensemble in Germany. Within a month, musicians performed in almost 30 cities in front of the Russian-speaking population. After them, the country was visited by Petrosyan. He was told about the Uzbek comedian who impressed everyone. The famous artist remembered the choice of the audience. A few years later, Evgeni Vaganovich found Asomov. By that time, the comedian managed to participate in the "Full House", but his career did not advance.
Humor
Together with Petrosyanov Obid gave a joint concert, which became the key to successful cooperation. The comedian called for a colleague in “Crooked Mirror” in 2004. The Uzbek artist instantly joined the team. Bright numbers really liked the audience. In his performances, the comedian successfully used national color. A vivid example is the scene “Venice”, played together with Karen Avanesyan, or the number “In the Restaurant” with Elena Stepanenko.
In parallel, Asomov starred in the film "The Giant and the Shorty." The work brought him a prize for the best male role at the Anapa festival "Kinoshok". The artistic career in Russia was gaining momentum, and difficulties began at home. The problems ended only by 2017. Only during a tour in Israel did the artist learn that performances in Uzbekistan were again allowed for him. The outstanding achievements of the artist in the field of culture were recognized.
He became the head of the studio of animated films. By this time, the situation of national animation was critical. Only state support helped her to get out. The plans for 2020 were the release of 50 multiprojects per year. Little is known about Asomov’s personal life. He is a very modest and serious person.
The comedian is happily married. His family has four children. His daughters and son tried to act in films, however, none of the children chose their father's career. The family man approached parenting seriously. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Loved the humorist for a walk with the dog, especially in the country.
