Biography
Zhukov Nikolai Nikolaevich was born in early December 1908 in Moscow. Then the family moved to Vyatka. When the boy was 7 years old, he moved with his parents to the city of Yelets.
Nikolai's grandfather and great-grandfather were artists. These educated people insisted that Nikolai Nikolayevich’s father also study. Therefore, the dad of our hero received a worthy legal education at the University of Berlin and Petersburg.
The artistic talent of Nikolai Nikolaevich manifested itself at an early age. When he was 10 years old, he drew playing cards on thick paper. Then she and her mother cut them out, and she exchanged cards in the market for milk and bread.

Creation
Returning from the army, Nikolai begins to work, including on order. This is his drawing on a pack of cigarettes "Kazbek", once popular in the Soviet Union. Then there were many more works for the magazine "Murzilka".
But first, Nikolai Nikolaevich won the competition for advertising posters in London. This art competition was attended by 5 of his works. But, to be honest, the names of the artists were not written on the canvases. And in this anonymous competition Zhukov won a brilliant victory. Indeed, out of five of his masterpieces, 4 took first place.
Son of his era
Since Nikolai Zhukov lived during the revolution, during the formation of Soviet power, he painted the classics of the ideas of communism - Marx and Engels. He also creates many works about Lenin. When Nikolai Zhukov had a daughter, Alina, this gave an extra round to creativity.
