Any disease is much easier to prevent than to treat the victim. Responsible tasks are assigned to phytosanitary control. Nikolay Vlasov is a member of the government commission on biological and chemical safety.
Childhood and youth
Interest in the surrounding nature to one degree or another appears in every adequate person. People living in rural areas are more likely to encounter natural phenomena. Citizens experience this effect indirectly, through dust and soot. Nikolai Anatolyevich Vlasov considers himself an urban man. Moreover, he feels himself an integral part of the global ecological system. This approach allows him to more accurately formulate answers to emerging questions and problems. He tests all kinds of hypotheses and assumptions experimentally.
The future doctor of biological sciences was born on October 21, 1953 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in Moscow. My father worked as an agronomist in the soil and environmental laboratory of the Agricultural Academy. Mother taught biology at the university. From an early age, she took Kolya with her on summer expeditions. The boy easily remembered the names of plants, insects and small animals that student students collected for research. From such trips, Vlasov brought home a variety of herbariums, collections of beetles and butterflies.
Professional activity
At school, Nikolai studied well. His favorite subjects were chemistry and biology. When it was time to choose a profession, he decided to get a specialized education at the famous Moscow Veterinary Academy. In his student years, Vlasov not only "nibbled on the granite of science", but also engaged in public work. During the summer holidays he worked in a student construction team. After receiving a diploma in biochemist in 1978, a young specialist in distribution entered the Research Institute of Veterinary Virology and Microbiology. He was engaged in an extensive range of issues that he was entrusted with.
In 1985, Nikolai Vlasov defended his thesis. Along with the solution of scientific and practical problems, he was actively engaged in teaching. He spent the warm period of the year in experimental plots and went on target expeditions. In 1995, Nikolai Anatolyevich defended his doctoral dissertation. Vlasov's scientific career was developing successfully. In the early 2000s, he was appointed head of the Moscow City Center for the Prevention and Diagnosis of Human and Animal Diseases.
