The Museum of Industrial Culture in Kuzminki is a special place. Unlike standard museums, there is no strictness or any strict rules. The visitor finds himself in a whole world of antiques. All items here are in the public domain. They can be touched, carefully examined, circumvented from all sides and take photos.
Almost every exhibit exhibited here has its own rich history. Here you can find interesting items. There are things from the everyday life of a simple Soviet person, there are achievements of industry, there are old vehicles, obsolete cameras, musical instruments and even working gaming machines. In addition, you can ride on a real trolley or sit in the current cabin of an old elevator. To list everything that is exhibited in the museum is almost impossible.
Anyone can visit the Museum of Industrial Culture located on Zarechye Street in Kuzminki. Entrance to the museum is absolutely free for all categories of visitors. You can come to the museum any day.
The director of the Museum of Industrial Culture is Lev Naumovich Zheleznyakov. This is a man of a wide soul and high moral ideals. The museum has become such an interesting place precisely thanks to the work of this person. He invests in the development of the project much more than it might seem at first glance. For Lev Naumovich this is the second house. New events, interesting ideas and a huge number of creative meetings make the Museum of Industrial Culture a special place. The hospitality and friendliness of Lev Naumovich create a special atmosphere and coziness in the museum.
The uniqueness of the place also lies in the fact that on the basis of the museum there are small creative groups in various areas. Here you can meet photographers who shoot with old cameras, blacksmithing lovers, film crews, musicians and even graffiti lovers. For the activities of these "interest circles", the director tries to create all possible conditions, and absolutely free of charge. It deserves great respect.

Museum visitors can witness interesting shows and festivals that are held regularly. If you go to the museum of industrial culture, you can simultaneously get to the bard song concert, which is held on the lawn at the main building of the museum with real tents, or see a graffiti contest.
In addition to the main site in Kuzminki, the Museum of Industrial Culture is developing additional territories near the city of Serpukhov as part of the Living Villages project. Active construction of the current existing narrow gauge railway is underway, on which it will be possible to ride. A house of a lineman, which will become a museum, has almost been built nearby. This territory can be reached directly from the Museum of Industrial Culture by a real retro bus.
In addition, the creative team planned the construction of a unique water museum on the river near the Polenovo Museum-Reserve. An analogue of such a magnificent site simply does not exist. A real observatory is planned with the ability to observe the stars over the Oka. Between Serpukhov and Polenovo it is planned to launch a retro boat that will transport visitors.
If you have a free moment, be sure to visit the museum of industrial culture with the whole family. This will not require any financial costs, but it will help to support the development of the project of Leo Naumovich, which does everything just for the sake of the visitor’s interest. As a payment for the visit, you can make any amount to the museum support fund or just leave a good review, which you can write by hand in the museum guest book. But the most important thing is to see with your own eyes such a non-standard corner of industrial creativity.
