Biography
Monica's father, Reymund, comes from a Jewish family. He is the former CEO of Tech Data Corp., a large software distribution company. The actress's mother is a Dominican, she is a co-founder of the Soulful Arts Dance Academy. Monica has a brother. In school, Reymund participated in the Broadway Theater Project in Tampa. She could also be seen in productions of the North Carolina School of the Arts, which is located in Winston-Salem.
Monica graduated from the Shorecrest Preparatory School in St. Petersburg. She later moved to New York with her family. Monica studied at the Juilliard school.
