Biography
Mikhail Kukota was born in 1986 in the city of Novoaleksandrovsk, Stavropol Territory. The family was engaged in agriculture, so after school the young man decided to follow in the same footsteps and continued his studies at Stavropol State Agrarian University, which he subsequently successfully graduated with a diploma in electrical engineering. In his student years, Mikhail became an active player in the KVN team and immediately established himself as a master of pantomime.
In 2007, Kukota entered the city KVN team, where he met his future partner in a humorous career Igor Chekhov (the real name of the artist is Yegor Kozlikin). Young people quickly became friends and together entered the St. Petersburg Institute of Performing Arts. The duet "Partisans" was born. Comedians successfully passed the casting in the television show "Laughter without rules" on the TNT channel, after which they received an invitation to participate in the Slaughter League and Do Not Sleep! The guys called their style of performance "plastic idiocy".
After the closure of "Uboyka" "Partisans" appeared less and less on television. They worked as leaders at weddings and corporate parties, but constantly dreamed about something more. Thus was born his own theater project "Show for all." The duet, which changed its name to "Kukota & Chekhov", successfully performed with performances of its own production, successfully performed not only in Russia but also abroad. Fans repeatedly asked them to return to television, but they were in no hurry to answer.
Nevertheless, in 2017, Mikhail Kukota and Igor Chekhov unexpectedly returned to their TNT channel, unexpectedly for everyone. They won the Comedy Battle show twice, receiving solid prizes and the right to become residents of the Comedy Club main comedy show. So the popular duo firmly established both on television and outside it. They still perform in the genre of beloved pantomimes, which are now in a good sense even crazier.
