Carier start
The biography of Marc Marquez begins with his birth on February 17, 1993 in the small Spanish city of Server, in which about 10 thousand people live. From an early age, the future pilot showed interest in motorcycles, and for the first time mounted a sport bike at the age of 5 years. The family supported Mark's hobbies, and the young rider continued to learn to drive a motorcycle.
Marquez's career began in 2001, when he attended his first championship in Catalonia in the discipline of enduro, in which he won first place. However, the motorcyclist did not like this discipline, and already in 2003 he switched to circuit racing.
Monlau Competicion and Team KTM Repsol
In 2003, Mark took the title in the Open Racc 50 championship, and already in 2004 he was invited to the Monlau Competicion team, led by Emilio Alzamor. The young talent had a strong motivation to work and win, and in 2005, the 125cc Catalan sub-champion earned two titles in a row.
However, the first important championship for him will take place in 2008 with a team called Team KTM Repsol. Thanks to his good physical preparation and aggressive driving style, he manages to become the winner of the tournament, as well as become the youngest pilot in motor sports after Dani Pedrosa.
The athlete did not stop there. Two years later, having won the championship in Mugello and Silverstone, Mark became the world champion in the class 125cc.
Repsol Honda Team
In 2013, Marc Marquez transferred to the Anglo-Japanese team called the Repsol Honda Team. Beginners were not allowed to play in the “factory” team, but when Marquez passed, the organizers made an exception, and as a pilot, Mark was able to debut in the Moto GP and take the championship title in the very first season.
Mark Merkes became the youngest champion in the royal class.
