Biography
Michael Scott (Michael Peter Scott) was born on September 28, 1959 in the Irish city of Dublin. At the school where the future writer studied, much attention was paid to Gaelic football. This national sport, combining the elements of football and rugby, attracted young Michael. But poor eyesight, myopia, did not allow the boy to master the game. Michael Scott switched to martial arts. He practiced karate, taekwondo, judo and even a little kung fu. Over time, combining training and literary work has become difficult. Therefore, Scott left the martial arts. However, the skills gained over the years helped Scott to create literary works. From his earliest years, his father instilled a love of books with Michael Scott. Every Saturday morning they visited a bookstore. His father, who knew many sellers personally, read everything and called for his son. Michael, following his father's advice, chilled Irish winters, as well as summer days, spent reading books. It is not surprising that the first place of work was the bookstore, where he worked as a seller. And the thing that Scott devoted his life to was the creation of books.
