Ludmila Vasilievna was born in the Soviet Union, in the city of Moscow. Date of birth September 26, 1940. The famous opera singer Maria Maksakova was the mother of the future actress. Her father was also a creative person - a singer of the Bolshoi Theater. He did not take any part in the upbringing of his daughter, he never saw Lyudmila, and after the war ended he went abroad.
Maksakova received primary education at the Central Music School. At that time, the children of many famous personalities studied there, so she did not experience persecution from her classmates. She graduated from this institution in the cello class, but was not going to become a singer.
But all the relatives were only glad that Lyudmila Maksakova decided to go her own way. The mother of the future actress insisted on the career of a translator. This desire was not destined to come true. Lyudmila accidentally saw an excerpt from a certain French play and ignited the dream of becoming an actress.
As a result, despite the impressive competition, she managed to enter the prestigious and famous theater institution - the Shchukin Theater School. She made a very strong impression on the selection committee, despite her tender age.
During her studies, Lyudmila finally felt freedom from her mother, who constantly tried to limit and protect her. As a result, Maksakova began to use bright makeup, changed her hair and relaxed at various student parties. It was there that she made acquaintance with Vladimir Vysotsky. They maintained friendship for a long time.
