The first years of Laura's life, Jane Haddock, took place in the prestigious London district of Ansfield, the entertainment center of the capital. The future famous actress was born on August 21 in 1985. To get an education, the parents sent the child to St. George's Closed School in Harperden.
Road to dream
In the county of Harfordshire, Laura spent all her childhood and youth. She only came home for the holidays. The year before graduation, Haddock left school and went to study acting at the capital's Arts Educational School.
After successfully completing the course, the aspiring lyceum was not only able to get on the stage, but also made her debut in several performances. She got a leading role in the famous play "Rosenford and Son", and also started a film career.
Laura began acting on television. She appeared in one of the episodes of the multi-episode sitcom “My Family” in 2007. At the same time, the girl participated in the work on the fabulous project “Color of Magic”. In a two-part film adaptation of the famous Terry Pratchett’s books “Crazy Star” and “The Color of Magic”, she established herself as a talented performer.
The next works were the superhero project “The First Avenger” and the detective “Pocket full of rye” from the legendary series about the indefatigable detective Miss Marple.
Very interesting was the work in the British television comedy Honesty. In some scenes, the beginning star had to appear naked, and her family categorically objected to such popularity. The way out was found very witty. Laura starred in a tight-fitting flesh-colored leotard, and on those evenings when the series was shown on television, Haddock took her parents to a theater or restaurant to play safe.
Film career
A year later, Laura was offered a major serial role in the project "Monday, Monday." Her character was Natasha. The debut in the title role was a series-sitk "How not to live." After the filming was completed, a year passed, and Laura again taught the proposal. This time the role was constant. She played in the British project Up and Down the Stairs. The picture was a continuation of the popular series, which went on in 1971-1975. The audience saw the actress in the fantastic thriller "Storage 24".
Haddock dreamed of acting in Hollywood. However, the first picture was unsuccessful. Critics have negatively accepted the film "Yeti Anger". But very approving responses have won "Guardians of the Galaxy". Haddock's role was second-rate, but the audience really liked the performer’s game. Laura became the movie star of the film's protagonist, Star Lord Peter Quill, Meredith Quill.
The heroine appeared only in flashbacks, since even in the past, the action takes place after the heroine's death, when Peter was abducted by aliens. But the main action takes place after a quarter of a century.
Along with working on a comic blockbuster, Laura played in the fantasy series "Da Vinci Demons". In a joint project, Starz and the BBC talked about the life of the famous Italian painter and inventor. However, there is little left of a real biography of an outstanding figure. The plot is based on the fictional side of the artist’s life with the addition of elements of mysticism and fantasy.
The people who really lived at that time were shown, who became personalities of a historical scale. Among them are Pope Sixtus the Fourth, and his nephew Count Girolamo Riario, and the ruler of Florence Lorenzo Medici, and his wife Clarice Orsini. Laura got the character of Lucretia Donati, the muse and lover Lorenzo Medici. Headdock appeared in almost all series of telenovela. More often than not, viewers saw only the leading actor Tom Riley.
The project was liked by both viewers and critics. The picture received two prime time Emmy Awards. The successful project was extended for another couple of seasons.
For several years, the actress met with composer, singer and actor Richard Flyshman. The couple broke up in 2011. At the same time, relations began with the star of the Hunger Games and the melodramatic picture about a meeting with you, Sam Claflin.
After a couple of years of dating, a modest ceremony was held on July 30, 2013. A couple of years later a child appeared in the family. At first, the press did not know his name. Only then did stellar parents report that their son, Pip Claflin, was born.
