Consumers are increasingly complaining about poor service, poor quality products, or infringement of their rights. And the point here is not even that the situation with the quality of service has changed for the worse - people have become interested in their rights, how to protect them and tools to influence negligent sellers and service providers.

Instruction manual
1
The main state regulatory body authorized to deal with the problems of the consumer market and services is currently Rospotrebnadzor. Contact specialists for qualified state assistance. Specialists of this service are empowered to conduct various inspections, examinations, issue orders to eliminate violations, as well as apply penalties in accordance with the drawn up inspection protocol.
2
In addition to Rospotrebnadzor, there are various public organizations created by local authorities. However, such organizations are not allowed to apply penalties. They can only draw up a collegial act on violations identified during the audit and send it to the appropriate state agency (tax service, police, territorial authority of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare). The actions of these structures can not always be observed, so many prefer to act independently, but still, contact the organizations working in the city.
3
If the purchased goods turned out to be of poor quality, if there was an error when calculating at the checkout or the seller behaved rudely, request a complaint book and make an appropriate entry there. However, as practice shows, this measure is rarely effective and sufficient, therefore, it should not be limited to it.
4
Make a written complaint in two copies, where in a free form detail and substantively state the essence of the dissatisfaction and the request - the exchange of low-quality goods, a refund, or the adoption of administrative measures in relation to a particular person. Submit such a claim for signature to the official (the seller to whom the claim relates, his immediate supervisor or the head of the organization). The consumer retains one signed copy of the claim. In the event that the seller refuses to sign the claim, it should be sent by mail, preferably by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
5
If the trade organization satisfied the requirements of the consumer, good. If this does not happen, contact an independent examination and get a conclusion on the quality of the goods. If the examination confirms that the product is really of poor quality or hazardous to health, the next step should be to appeal to the court. As a rule, the court is always on the side of the consumer, especially if the fact of violation of his rights is documented.
