The word "traveling salesman" is borrowed in Russian from French (commis voyageur). So called travelers pursuing commercial goals. In our country, analogs of salespeople were peddlers, known since ancient times. They spent all their time on the road, selling goods in cities and villages. Each salesman has his own working methods. So, one can carry product samples with it, and the other - only catalogs. If the customer liked the product, the salesman helps to order the product by filling out an application.

The salesman profession has many positive aspects. One of them is the lack of age and gender restrictions. In addition, this work involves independence and the ability to independently plan your work schedule. The level of earnings directly depends only on yourself and your abilities, the ability to work correctly, the presence of personal qualities suitable for this work. The presence of education does not matter, the main thing is different here - in order to be successful, the salesman must be able to find an approach to people, make and maintain acquaintances, and be sociable. In addition, he should have an idea of the basic techniques of marketing and be a little psychologist.
