Nikolai Nikolaevich Dobronravov was born in 1928 in Leningrad. From an early age, his grandmother instilled a love of art to him, and a school teacher to literature. Very young Kolya showed great interest in this. It is said that he once memorized "Woe from Wit" by Griboedov. Grandmother was so scared by this event that she took her grandson to a psychiatrist, who, however, did not find any mental deviations from him.
The beginning of the creative path
After graduating from school with a gold medal, Dobronravov immediately could not decide on the future profession. To a great extent, he also wanted to engage in literary work and teach literature at school. Perhaps that is why he immediately could not make a choice and entered the Moscow Art Theater School. True, after graduating, he continued his studies at the Faculty of Philology of the Pedagogical Institute.
