The 64th international Eurovision song contest 2019, which was held in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv, will certainly be remembered for its excellent numbers of contestants and a bright, bold show.
While the vote was being taken and the results were being counted, such famous performers as Conchita Wurst with the song "Heroes", Verka Serduchka with the song "Toy", Mons Sermelyev, who performed the song "Fuego", Eleni Fureira with the track "appeared on the stage. Dancing Lasha Tumbai. " Netta Brasilai, the winner of last year's Eurovision, introduced her new song in Tel Aviv called "Nana Banana". Among the invited stars were also: Dana International, Idan Reichel, Gal Gadot, Gali Atari. And the headliner of the show this year was Madonna herself. The legendary singer performed two songs in Israel: the new track "Future" and the beloved song "Like a Prayer" by many.
After the entertaining program, the most nervous and intriguing time has come: who will become the winner of the music competition, which country Eurovision will go to next year. It is worth recalling that in recent years the competition has a new voting system. First, the points are given by the professional jury of each country, and after the results of the audience vote are announced. And, as was noticeable in past times, viewers rarely agree with professionals. Eurovision 2019 was no exception.
The five countries after the announcement of the voting results of the jury included:
- Sweden - 239 points;
- Northern Macedonia - 237 points;
- Netherlands - 231 points;
- Italy - 212 points;
- Azerbaijan - 197 points.
However, everything changed literally dramatically after it became known how ordinary viewers voted. And there was an incident: Germany, for which the female duo "S! Sters" played, did not receive a single vote from the audience. In addition, quite strong public support was received by groups from Norway and Iceland, which the professional jury practically did not single out. And only thanks to the voices of the audience and fans of the show Russia, which Sergey Lazarev represented at the song contest, managed to break up in the standings.

By the total amount of votes from the jury and the audience, the top 5 Eurovision artists of 2019 is as follows:
- Duncan Lawrence, Netherlands - 492 points;
- Mahmoud, Italy - 465 points;
- Sergey Lazarev, Russia - 369 points;
- Luca Hanney, Switzerland - 360 points;
- KEiiNO Group, Norway - 338 points.
Thus, Eurovision 2020 will be held in the Netherlands. The winner of the show in 2019 was the singer and musician Duncan Lawrence. For the third time he performed his song "Arcade" on the stage in Tel Aviv after the announcement of all the results.

Unfortunately, Sergey Lazarev, speaking for the second time from Russia at this international song contest, could not get to the first line. Its result is exactly the same as in 2016, when Eurovision was held in Stockholm. The singer himself said that if there is an opportunity, he is ready to go to the competition for the third time.
