From the biography of Andrei Ivanovich Kolesnikov
The future journalist was born in the village of Semibratovo, near Rostov. His date of birth is August 8, 1966. Andrei considers his childhood to be the most common. Already in his school years, the boy showed literary creativity. He wrote brilliant essays, published notes in the school newspaper. Later he began to be published in the local press. Once Kolesnikov even won the contest "Towards the 60th anniversary of the USSR." Successes in journalism predetermined the future career of Andrei Ivanovich.
Carier start
Kolesnikov studied diligently. And he had enough ambitions. The presence of talented publications and a good certificate allowed him to become a student in the journalism faculty of Moscow State University. Years of study flew by unnoticed. After graduation, Kolesnikov had to start from the lowest steps of the career ladder, because the novice journalist had no connections. The young man could count only on his abilities.
Andrei began his career in the usual multi-circulation, called the "Accelerator". This newspaper was published at the Institute of High Energy Physics. However, Kolesnikov soon moved to a more solid publication - the Moscow News. It was here that he began to master the mastery of journalism. I had to learn to work with "raw" material, communicate with people, comply with publication deadlines. With each publication, Kolesnikov’s materials became brighter and more interesting.
To the heights of professional excellence
The formation of the future journalist took place against the backdrop of rapid changes in society. New media grew like mushrooms after rain. The information environment was changing, new issues appeared on the agenda.
In 1996, Kolesnikov, already an experienced journalist with a distinctive style, received an offer to move to Kommersant as a special correspondent. Together with eminent colleagues, Kolesnikov began to publish a newspaper of a new time.
Andrei Ivanovich managed not to get lost in the background of his colleagues in the craft. His publications were distinguished by a special look and unique style. However, in 1998, after the crisis, the team crumbled. Many professionals went to other publications. Kolesnikov remained in Kommersant and turned into a real “locomotive” of this publication.
Subsequently, talent and abilities allowed Kolesnikov to join the team of journalists who covered the activities of the Russian government and the head of state. It is no secret that only true professionals are allowed here. Andrei Ivanovich became one of those who could conduct lengthy conversations with Vladimir Putin. Often, the president has to answer very uncomfortable questions that concern the reading public.
