July 13, 1944 in the capital of our country in a creative family (father - actor Vladimir Klyuyev) was born the future famous artist. Unfortunately, at the age of four, the boy was left without a father, who died prematurely from heart failure. Borya did not differ in exemplary behavior and good schooling in high school, but he was very seriously carried away by the scene.
And it played a good service in his fate. Noting the role of the devil in the school play "Devil's Mill", he suddenly realized what it was like to be a local celebrity, and firmly decided to devote himself to the acting profession in the future.
The natural gift from the father and the active participation of the mother in his fate, which fully approved the choice of the son, played a paramount role in this endeavor. But the difficult financial situation of the family that lost the breadwinner made Boris unload wagons and work at the construction site at the age of fourteen. And then for three years there was service in the ranks of the Armed Forces. After returning home, Klyuyev enters the legendary Sliver, after successfully completing which he is assigned to serve in the Maly Theater troupe.
The debut on the theatrical stage took place, as often happens, with minor roles. It was with the productions of The Power of Darkness, Glass of Water, and Vanity Fair that he began his ascent to the heights of theatrical fame. And after Boris Klyuyev played in the role of Sergei Sinitsyn in the play “It Will Be So, ” the theater community expressed its full recognition to him.
In 1968, Boris Klyuyev made his debut in cinema, when in his student years he played a patrol guard in the film “The Punisher”. And after that, the number of his film works was regularly replenished, twice exceeding the number of theater projects.
