Biography
Kim Dickens, nee Kimberly Jan Dickens, was born on June 18, 1965 in the small town of Huntsville, located in northern Alabama. The girl was born into the family of Justin Dickens, a performer of songs in the style of country western, and Pam (Clark) Howell.
Dickens graduated from Lee High School. She then enrolled at Vanderbilt University Research University, located in Nashville, Tennessee, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in communications.

After graduation, Kim Dickens moved to New York. There she continued her studies at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute and worked as a waitress in order to financially provide for herself.
