Pushkin the storyteller is no less brilliant than the Pushkin poet and prose writer. His tales are dynamic, the plot is diverse, there are no extras, and each scene has a finished look and could well qualify for an independent work of small literary form.

The genius of the great poet Alexander Pushkin is admired by people of any nationality. His works have been translated into a record number of languages; he is loved, taught, quoted. His tales are almost more popular among children than poems. Agree, not everyone can come up with an exciting story that holds attention to the last page. Moreover, a fascinating story needs to be stated in rhyme so that the original idea does not distort, but, on the contrary, acquires the beauty of the form in which the fairy tale is proposed.
It is known for sure how many fairy tales came out of the poet's pen - there are seven of them, they were written in nine years - from 1825 to 1834. Drafts of the poet still contain drafts for works, but it’s now very difficult to say exactly how many fairy tales were destined to see the light.
Pushkin's tales are language, style of presentation, variety of words and colors. They are deprived of deliberate edification, moralizing, on the contrary, each is written easily, concisely, with humor.
"The Tale of the Priest and His Worker Balda"
A good-natured and instructive story, set out with humor, which prompts reflection on the relationship between people. The future fate of a person largely depends on what is put into the head in childhood. This tale is a high-quality and interesting material for the proper formation of personality, both psychologists and teachers consider, which include this work in extracurricular reading of 2-4 classes.
"The Tale of Tsar Saltan, of his glorious and mighty son Prince Gvidon Saltanovich and of the beautiful Princess Swans"
This is a true bestseller of past centuries, but the basic principles of relationships are relevant in our days. This is a whole kaleidoscope of bright and extraordinary characters, grotesque, but lively characters with a whole life story, formation and development.
The famously twisted plot was successfully put on film, the fairy tale was released in the form of numerous audio books, an opera and many plays were staged on it. It is difficult to say that it is focused on children and only, rather, it is edification in a playful form for all ages, layers and nations.
"The Tale of the Dead Princess and the Seven Knights"
A good and interesting story about true friendship, true love and the inevitable defeat of evil. The plot is presented in an easy-to-read format and will interest both children and their parents. This work is considered one of the most poetic and lyrical in the work of the poet. It is not known for certain, but many literary scholars believe that allusions and artistic techniques refer the reader to African folk tales, there are even some plot similarities. In general, it was this work that became the starting point for folklorists, who reconsidered their attitude to Pushkin's texts, recognizing the deepest historical national traditions in them.
Pushkin also owns The Tale of the Bear, The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish, The Tale of Tsar Nikita and His Forty Daughters.
