Veteran of labor - a citizen who has a document "Veteran of Labor", or such awards as orders, medals, as well as awarded the honorary titles of the USSR or Russia, having departmental distinguishing signs in labor. People who work at the age of minority during the Second World War and have experience: men - 40 years old women - 35 years old, also have the right to be recognized as a "Veteran of Labor".

Assignment of "Veteran of Labor"
To be awarded the title "Veteran of Labor", you need to bring to the social security authorities:
- a document in which the labor activity (labor book) is indicated and, if necessary, certificates from archival organizations;
- document on the award;
- passport.
In the USSN of Russia at the place of registration, all of the above documents are submitted, and a statement is prepared in the form of conferring the title "Veteran of Labor". Within fifteen days a decision is made. In the event that a person is refused, a notice of this is provided to him personally in a period of not more than 5 days. The reasons for the refusal are sent to the social protection where the application was made.
