According to cinema experts, Alfred Hitchcock's “Dizziness” was in first place in the list of the best films. The film about the detective Ferguson, shot in 1958, is still gaining the highest scores in all movie ratings.

On the eighth and ninth positions of the top list of the best films according to Sight & Sound are the paintings: “The Searchers” (1956) directed by John Ford and “The Man with a Movie Camera” (1929) directed by Dzigi Vertov.
The ninth and tenth places were taken by the paintings: “Passion of Joan of Arc” (1928) directed by Carl Theodore Dreyer and “Eight and a Half” (1963) by Federico Fellini.
We got into the list of the best films and paintings of Soviet production, directed by Andrei Tarkovsky. The film "Mirror" was in 19th place, "Andrei Rublev" took 26th place, "Stalker" - 29th.
