An important role in protecting the environment is played by the protection of the atmosphere. Any of us can significantly reduce our share in creating emissions into it. Act yourself, set an example to others, and your contribution to the common cause of maintaining peace around us will become significant.

Instruction manual
1
Think about what type of transport you use. Your share of harmful emissions into the atmosphere no longer depends on the principle on which the vehicle you are using (i.e., whether it uses an electric motor or an internal combustion engine), but on how much of its power falls on you. Find on the Internet data on the power of a particular vehicle, and count the number of people simultaneously in its cabin on your own. Divide the first by the second, and you will find out how much power is consumed when you move this vehicle to work or home.
2
Carry out such an analysis with respect to the types of everyday use vehicles known to you: bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles, cars, buses, trolleybuses, trams, subway trains, and electric trains. For a bicycle, the power developed by man, take for 100 watts. You will find that the bike is the most optimal in this regard, public transport is a little worse, a moped is even worse, and the worst performance is obtained for a car. Remember, however, that a moped with a two-stroke engine is undesirable because it emits products into the atmosphere. combustion of not only fuel, but also oil. But on the other hand, old mopeds have one advantage: unlike modern scooters, they sometimes allow you to turn off the engine and ride by pedaling, like on a bicycle. Use this mode more often on such a moped.
3
Think about what steps you can take to protect the atmosphere you personally. Do not rush to give up the car for scrap - there is nothing wrong with just having it. Just do not use it every day. For example, get to and from work in public transport or on a bicycle (at the same time you will avoid traffic jams), and use the car only for long trips, for example, to the country house and cottage.
4
Some motorists drive their cars only in the summer, and for the winter carry out their conservation. Think about whether you should start doing the same. By doing so, you will not only contribute to the protection of the environment, but also significantly extend the life of the vehicle, since its wear is much more intense during winter trips.
5
If you have an air conditioner at home, remember: it consumes more energy per day than a computer, a washing machine, a microwave, and all the bulbs (even if they are not energy-efficient) combined. Do not use it unnecessarily. Use a fan instead instead. The same applies to a huge plasma TV: watch only movies that deserve it, and use the device with a small screen for daily news viewing.
6
When calculating electricity consumption by household appliances, take into account not only their power, but also the duration of their work during the day. Despite the fact that the power consumed by the microwave oven is high, when it is heated, it is turned on for only one minute. The power of the same plasma TV is three to four times less, but they watch it for several hours a day.
