In addition to permanent registration, there is also a temporary residence, called registration at the place of stay. And in order to arrange it, you need to fill out a special application.

Find out if you need to receive registration at the place of stay. It is required if you live outside the place of your residence for more than three months. You can register at any time voluntarily (of course, with the consent of the owner of the apartment).

Find the address of the Federal Migration Service (FMS) office of residence. This can be done by checking the information on the official website of the FMS. On the main page, click on the map of Russia in the upper right corner of the screen. On the map, select your region. This will bring you to the service page in a specific subject of the federation. There in the section "Divisions of the Federal Migration Service" the addresses and phone numbers of the institutions of interest will be indicated.

Come to the FMS department with a passport and birth certificate, if you want to register another child. Take from the employee an application form for registration at the place of stay. Start filling it out by indicating the addressee - FMS at the place of stay. Next, in the corresponding column, indicate your surname, name and patronymic in the genitive case, date of birth.

In the next paragraph, write down the address of the housing in which you were registered earlier or have a permanent residence permit so far. Then fill in the information for how long you want to receive temporary registration. In the fourth paragraph, write the name of the owner of the apartment and who you have it to - a relative, friend, landlord. You must also indicate the document on the basis of which you submit the application - the consent of the owner to your registration. Below indicate the address where you live now, and your passport data. At the end, put the date and signature.

Give the bottom of the form to the owner of the apartment to fill out. After that, you can return to the FMS department and get the desired registration.

For the owner of the apartment there is a special form of temporary registration, which he completes entirely by himself.
