One of the ways to fight for building a civil society can be to participate in elections as an observer. The results of the vote count on the precinct and the legality of the voting process will largely depend on your activity and integrity in this role.

Instruction manual
1
If you decide to become an election observer, check out Chapter IV of the Federal Election Law. Thus, if you are over 18 years old and you are not included in the list of persons listed in paragraph 2 of this section, you have the right to become an observer.
2
Referral to a polling station as an observer in the presidential election shall be issued by a registered presidential candidate or the party that has nominated the candidate. In elections to the State Duma, observers are sent by associations claiming seats in parliament. If you have a familiar candidate, you can contact him directly. Otherwise, find the local branch of the party whose political program suits you. To become an observer, joining it is optional.
3
The coordinates of the regional offices are usually located on the main sites of the parties. On the site of the RPP "Yabloko" there is an opportunity to immediately get directions to a site that you yourself will name. Everyone can take an online training for observers and receive instructions on how to act in difficult circumstances.
4
Contact your local office and find out how to find a party representative in your community. You will need to present a passport to receive a referral. If you live in a fairly large city with several polling stations, you can ask to be sent to the one closest to your home.
5
If you are ready to take a principled position, it is possible that you will have to linger on the site until late at night in the event of a conflict with the election commission. Arrange with friends and relatives to take the direction to the same site by observers from other parties. Together you can do so much more.
6
The media also has the right to send observers. You can contact your local newspaper to get directions. Try to find out how much the editorial staff is ready to support you if you decide to confront election irregularities.
