Instruction manual
1
When participating in a rally, you should know that you have both rights and obligations. For their part, the police, when dealing with citizens, are also guided by job descriptions. In order for law enforcement officers to use force against you, you must commit certain illegal actions.
2
What in no case can be done at a rally? First of all, come to him absolutely sober, have documents with you. Avoid foul language, especially against the police. Do not insult the guardians of order, do not provoke them to force actions. Remember that the police sometimes just wait for a reason to detain you. Do not give such a reason, behave peacefully and calmly.
3
If there are calls for violence at a rally, don’t follow the speakers. Control yourself, as the notorious "crowd effect" really exists and is capable of unrecognizably changing the human mind. You may simply not notice the moment when a general wave of emotions will overwhelm you and force you to do something that you would never have allowed yourself in another situation.
4
Among the protesters may be provocateurs or simply mentally inadequate people. If possible, reassure them, do not let them come into conflict with the police. When communicating in person with a policeman, smile, be stressedly friendly and non-aggressive. Follow all their requirements, otherwise you may be accused of disobedience with all the ensuing consequences.
5
If you are still detained, do not show physical resistance, do not insult the police, even if you are overwhelmed with emotions. Keep yourself in control, analyze the current situation. Remember that you have the right to inform your relatives about the fact of your detention. You have the right to request a copy of the report of your detention. If it was not given, write in the protocol itself that you did not receive a copy.
6
The period of administrative detention may not exceed three hours. In the event that an administrative case is being conducted against you, you may be detained for up to 48 hours.
