How to find out the program MIFF

The Moscow International Film Festival has been held in the capital for more than 30 years and annually becomes one of the most important summer events in the world of cinema. The program of the event is divided into several competitions and includes screenings of paintings of not only domestic but also foreign directors.

Visit the official website of the Moscow International Film Festival. Dates of the current year are indicated in the upper left part of the main page.

Find the "Schedule" section located in the horizontal menu at the top of the main page, click on this button.

Examine the MIFF program in the window that opens. Please note that the film opening the film festival and the film closing it are highlighted in separate lines. In order to find out which films claim the first place in the main competition or participate in the projects “Perspectives”, “Short film” or “Documentary film”, click on the corresponding section. You will see a list of films participating in the corresponding competition of this year, they are listed in alphabetical order with the date and time of the show.

If you are interested in screenings taking place within the framework of the film festival on a specific day, select sorting by date in the "Schedule" section and click on the day you are interested in.

You can also write to the organizers of the Moscow International Film Festival by mail and request the program in electronic form. Be sure to include your contact address.

Specify the names of cinemas in which screenings of films participating in the Moscow International Film Festival will be held. Opening and closing, as a rule, takes place at the Khudozhestvenny cinema, films participating in the main competition are shown there in the October multiplex. Call the appropriate cinema and find out from the operator the date and time of the shows you are interested in. Contact numbers can be clarified on the official sites and on the site of the MMFK.
