A strike is a legal method of defending their rights by employees of an enterprise. But for the strike to lead to real results and be recognized as legal, it must be properly organized.

Instruction manual
1
Study the law on strikes in the Labor Code of the Russian Federation and carefully review all the conditions under which a collective agreement was concluded with employees. If you are not given wages on time, do not pay holidays and overtime, these are sufficient reasons to go on strike.
2
Organize a group of workers, formulate your requirements and present them to the employer in writing.
3
Wait for an answer. In the event that the authorities do not accept your conditions (and this often happens), a labor dispute will arise that must be resolved in strict accordance with the law.
4
Try to resolve this dispute with the participation of a mediator or through labor arbitration. If, in this case, the management of the enterprise does not meet you, you can declare a future strike. By law, you must do this at least 10 days before it begins. Otherwise, the strike will be declared unlawful, and its organizers may be fired or fined heavily.
5
Define the dates and goals of the strike in advance. Remember that the law is on your side. The dismissal of protesters and "lockouts" are officially prohibited.
6
Hold a general meeting of employees. Only on it can one legally decide on the start of a strike, provided that at least half of those present vote for it. The results of the meeting should be recorded in the minutes.
7
Be prepared for the organization’s management to take retaliatory measures: it will threaten with dismissal, convince workers individually, and hire non-staff personnel for the period of the strike. Your strength is unity, patience and perseverance. If your superiors go against the law, complain to the State Labor Inspectorate. This body will conduct a special investigation and will try to find a way out of the protracted labor conflict.
