"Happiness is to be with nature, to see it, to talk about it, " - so wrote L. N. Tolstoy. Only here nature from the time of Tolstoy has changed and, alas, not for the better. Less and less remains on Earth places that would not be spoiled by human activity. Not only environmentalists must fight for the purity and beauty of the world. Each person is able to at least slightly change the situation in which our nature is now.
Instruction manual
1
When choosing nature, be guided by one basic rule - "do not spoil". Of course, this applies primarily to garbage. Among the inveterate tourists there is such a tradition: after yourself you need to leave the place as if you had never been here. Imagine: bags and plastic bottles decompose for about 100 years! Plastic and polyethylene can be called "long-term" garbage. The most dangerous thing is that they do not decompose completely, but break down into new toxic substances that accumulate in soil and water. Try to take all the garbage with you, and then throw it in a specially designated place.
2
Cigarette butts also belong to rubbish - for some reason, many believe that they can be thrown into the grass. Meanwhile, it is easy to guess that one cigarette butt contains a lot of harmful substances that badly affect the soil. Cigarette butts decay for a very long time - 12 years! Volunteers from environmental groups say that removing cigarette butts is the most difficult. It is best to have a separate container with liquid for a picnic, where everyone can put out their cigarettes. It is also important for the prevention of forest fires, which for many regions are real natural disasters. Of course, then all butts must be thrown into garbage containers.
3
Fortunately, there are still volunteers who are not indifferent to the state of nature. They organize various environmental events. People are always needed at such events, so if you want to make your place of residence cleaner and more beautiful, join the ranks of volunteers. Volunteers often have to do the hard work of collecting piles of garbage, carrying heavy bags, but all this is offset by a sense of joy that you did a really important and useful job.
4
Teach your children to take care of nature. In early childhood, this can be expressed in the simplest things - you can’t throw candy wrappers on the road, only in the trash, it is undesirable to pick flowers and break tree branches. Such simple rules should become an absolute norm for a child, only then will he develop a careful attitude to the environment for his whole life.
5
If you use some natural resources during a camping trip or a picnic (for example, drink water from a source, collect firewood, fish), try to do all this as correctly as possible. Do not take from nature more than what you need.
note
Of course, the amount of pollution from any industrial enterprise is much greater than from a group of tourists, even the most irresponsible. If you work in a large plant, analyze how environmental protection works in your enterprise. If you are in a leadership position, think with your colleagues what can be improved in this area.
