Cemeteries are not the most popular places to visit, but probably almost everyone came there to honor the memory of the departed or just to look at the old graves and fences. It is worth knowing that it is usually impossible to come to guarded cemeteries at any time.

Instruction manual
1
You can visit many village cemeteries any day of the week and at any time of the day. In villages, there are usually not so many people living, so the vacancy of a watchman or caretaker is usually free, most often completely unnecessary. The graves are monitored by relatives living nearby or coming from cities. Due to the lack of guards, cemeteries do not close, so if you have the desire and have the courage, you can visit the village cemeteries late in the evening and even at night.
2
In city cemeteries, one can often visit almost any time of the day. Even with caretakers and watchmen, cemeteries in small towns often remain open in the dark. Of course, closer to night, the main gate, as a rule, closes, but often there are other entrances to places of burial where there are no fences.
Some cemeteries operate on a specific schedule, but, as a rule, opening times may vary by month and region. The vast majority of cemeteries begin work at 8-10 hours and end at 17-19. In the dark, most of the guarded cemeteries do not work.

The Khovansky cemetery of the capital is also open from 9.00 to 17.00. You can get to the Ivanovo cemetery in Yekaterinburg at any time. Entrance from the side of St. John the Baptist Cathedral may be closed at night, but there is no gate on the opposite side, and you can freely enter the territory.
