Usually vehicles (cars) are blessed before entering the temple. However, the rite of consecration of the machine itself can take place in another place, the main thing is that the follow-up should be performed by a clergyman who is not in the church ban.
The consecration of the consecration of the machine is located in the treasury - a special book of the followings of various ceremonies. Initiation of consecration is usually for any order. First, prayers are read to the “King of Heaven, ” the thrice by our Father, then “Come and worship the Tsar to our God …” and the 90th psalm (“Living in the help of the highest”). These prayers can be deducted by an ordinary reader. Then a special prayer is read by the priest for the consecration of the car, after which the car is sprayed with holy water three times from all sides.
Immediately before the consecration, car owners open all the doors, the hood, the trunk, as well as everything that can be opened in the car. It is also worth noting that during the consecration, car owners stand with lit candles.
After the consecration of the car (or before the order itself), a small car icon is placed in the cabin. Most often, this is a triptych with the image of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
Sometimes after the consecration of the car, some clergymen advise putting the candle, which was in the hand of the owner of the car, in the glove compartment. However, this practice is not prescribed by a special church decree, therefore, it does not belong to the category of necessarily feasible.
