Many people are afraid to speak in public. Fear that you will not be understood, fear that you cannot explain everything, fear that you will not make the impression you need. And if this is the first exit to the audience and speaker, you need to introduce yourself?

Instruction manual
1
Everyone knows that they are met by clothes, and they are already seeing off the mind. Therefore, before going out to the audience with a speech, dress with taste and care. Do not chase the price of the acquired clothes: the main thing is how she sits on you. So you can buy a costume from Versace and be dishonored by the whole world only because its color does not suit you, and the cut fit you in three sizes. Spend the time to take care of the image as much as you will write the text of the self-presentation, you will not regret it.
2
Next, the text itself. It is unlikely that you will stand and be silent, and the audience themselves will draw some conclusions. Spontaneous speech will not work - few people can instantly tune out an excellent text that will hook the audience and allow them to form an opinion about you. So write this text and seek the help of a professional rhetorician: he will draw you special lines above the lines that will show where the increase in intonation is, where is the decrease. But do not follow these instructions blindly so as not to sound like a robot.
3
Take the time to check your text for actual, stylistic, and speech errors. The content of the speech and the form in which you present your “dish” to the audience are very important. Think of it as part of the image - not just pay attention to clothing and accessories.
4
Another crucial part of success in introducing yourself to the public is self-confidence and charisma. Male and female charm do amazing things, influencing the audience and shaping their impression of you. A smile should play on your face - but not tense, not squeezed out of you through force, but natural. Therefore, you have to at least one day (if you do not do this always) imagine that everything in your life is fine and will be even better.
5
When you go to the audience, think only about yourself. Do not pay attention to any grimaces, frowns and clatter of your tongue. You need to cultivate a reasonable nonsense in yourself, because if you get upset at every unkind look from the crowd (most likely caused not by you and your speech at all), your small performance is definitely doomed to failure.
