Make sure that you meet all the requirements that are put forward for conscripts and that there are no circumstances preventing you from entering the service: you do not live abroad, have not been convicted of serious and state crimes, law enforcement inquiries or preliminary investigations are not being conducted against you bodies in court proceedings there are no cases in which you would act as a defendant. Your close relatives should also not have a criminal record and reside abroad.

You should not have outstanding convictions for committing a crime, serve a sentence of arrest, imprisonment or restriction of liberty, or correctional labor. In addition, you also should not be registered in the skin-venereological, narcological, neuropsychiatric dispensary and in law enforcement agencies. A conscript who wishes to serve in the Presidential Regiment must be from a complete family and have an education not lower than completed secondary education.

The following requirements are made for the state of health: height from 175 to 190 cm, weight within normal limits, good overall physical development, visual acuity in both eyes of at least 0.7, normal color sensation and hearing (good perception of whispering speech in both ears at a distance, exceeding 6 meters). The conscript must have a Slavic appearance and clear speech without defects, and his body should not have piercings, tattoos or scars.

Check out the list of vacancies posted on the official website of the Kremlin Regiment, if you intend to serve in it under a contract, or notify the draft board that you want to serve in the presidential regiment. After passing the selection in the military registration and enlistment office, you will have to give written consent, giving the right of the FSB of the Russian Federation to conduct an audit in relation to your identity, and pass an interview with the FSB officers. In addition, you will find a testing procedure and an interview with representatives of the Kremlin regiment. It is necessary to notify the military registration and enlistment office of your decision a few months before the start of the draft, otherwise you will not have time to go through all the selection stages.
