In order to get to the observation deck, located in the Sparrow Hills wildlife sanctuary, you must at least be in Moscow. However, it often happens that not only guests of the capital, but also Muscovites themselves find it difficult to immediately determine how to get to a particular district of the metropolis.

Instruction manual
1
Contact one of the many taxi services and tell the dispatcher that you would like to get to the Sparrow Hills. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that you will be able to get to the very observation deck, as recently private vehicles were prohibited on Kosygin Street leading to the highest point in Moscow. Closed traffic on the section of St. Andrew's Embankment, from which previously it was possible to freely pass to the site. So you have to walk a little after a taxi ride.
2
Take the metro and go to the Okhotny Ryad station. Not far from this station is Red Square and GUM, from the parking lot near which sightseeing buses constantly come. The program of almost all excursions includes a visit to the observation deck, to which you will also have to take a little walk, enjoying the cleanest air in the capital. Similar excursions are organized from other central regions of Moscow (for example, from Kalanchevskaya Square, the so-called "square of three stations, " Komsomolskaya metro station).
3
Take the metro to the train to the Vorobyovy Gory station. You will also have to walk a bit, and uphill, but the wonderful view from the platform, literally soaring above the city, is worth it.
4
If you feel vigorous and full of energy, then you can climb to the observation deck directly from the Moskva River, from the embankment or jetty of river transport. A ride on a river bus is quite inexpensive, and, in addition, during the trip you can enjoy wonderful views of the capital from the side of the ship. Get off at the berth you need and start climbing: first along the steps, and then along the paths, however, rather well-groomed. If you decide that you can’t afford to conquer the Sparrow Hills on your own, take the funicular directly to the observation deck.
5
Use ground transportation to get to the Sparrow Hills. So, from the metro station "Universitet" to the Sparrow Hills you can get on bus number 661 (stop "DK MSU"). In addition, you can take the following public transport routes:
- buses No. 113, 119 or 1 (to the stop "DK MSU"), 57, 111 (to the stop "Main Building of Moscow State University");
- trolley bus number 7 (the route passes metro stations: "Kievskaya", "Oktyabrskaya", "Leninsky Prospekt");
- trams No. 14, 26, 39 (to the stop "metro station" University ").
