Find any post office. Bring the documents to be sent to it.

Select an envelope that matches the size of the documents. The minimum letter size: 110 x 220 millimeters or 114 x 162 millimeters, the maximum size: 229 x 324 millimeters.

Ask the mail staff to weigh your letter. Shipping weight should not exceed 100 grams.

Sign the envelope. You must specify the exact addresses and surnames, first names, patronymics of the sender and recipient. In the upper left corner of the envelope indicate who the letter is coming from, then your zip code and mailing address. In the bottom right corner of the envelope, indicate the name of the addressee or official, the address of the recipient, including his postal code.

In the upper right corner, indicate on the envelope the amount in which you evaluate this letter. In case of loss or damage to the letter you will be paid compensation. The amount of your payment for sending a letter depends on the declared value. For each full or incomplete ruble, the premium will be 0.03 kopecks.

Fill in the inventory. List in it all the documents that you send - the name, date of writing or other characteristic features by which you can distinguish them. It is also necessary to indicate the total value of these documents (it must coincide with the one you indicated on the envelope) and put your list below the inventory. The list is filled out in duplicate.

Hand over the unsealed letter with the records and documents to the mail worker. After the transfer, the postal worker stamps both copies of the inventory, one copy is sent to you, and the second is put into the letter and the envelope is sealed.

Pay for sending the letter. After payment, take the cash receipt, it must be kept until the letter is delivered to the addressee. From this moment, a letter of declared value will be deemed accepted for shipment.

The address on the envelope is written in the reverse order, first the street, house, apartment, then the city and country.

Closely and clearly indicate the recipient’s zip code, this will significantly speed up the delivery of the letter.
