Instruction manual
1
There are five major religions of the world: Hinduism, Judaism, Shintoism, Christianity and Islam. They appeared in different eras in different parts of the world and in different nations. The purpose of each religion is to give a rational explanation of death, to find the meaning of human life. Religious scholars believe that religious cults and Homo sapiens appeared simultaneously.
2
According to the law of the Russian Federation and many others, including international conventions, everyone has the right to free choice of religion. No one can force a person to choose one religion or refuse another. At the same time, certain countries are characterized by the predominance of a certain religion, for example, the most common religion of the Arab countries is Islam, in Greece and some Slavic countries - Orthodox Christianity, in Italy and several other European countries - Catholicism, in India - Buddhism and Hinduism, in Japan, Shintoism and Buddhism, and so on. However, nationality and religiosity may not coincide, so you can not say, for example: "all Indians are Buddhists."
3
A negative attitude to the choice of a person in favor of a particular religion (including atheism) is unacceptable. Religion is an attempt to find the truth in an intuitive way, and ridicule of a person’s spiritual searches, and even more so insults and threats, is tantamount to recognizing one’s own mental inferiority.
4
Religion does not call for violence, killings, robberies and other violations. Each religious system calls for peace with itself and others, offering different methods for its achievement. The main ideas of all religions are similar and put at the forefront inviolability of property and human life, propagandize humanistic values. You should not confuse the opinion of a religious fanatic or politician who intentionally distort the texts of the holy books with the aim of starting wars, justifying the murder of Gentiles and foreigners, violating the laws of a country.
5
Religion is an attempt to increase a person’s moral and moral standard with the promise of a lifetime and posthumous retribution: in the opinion of almost any religion, passion leads first to serious illnesses (for example: gluttony - to obesity, promiscuous sex - to sexually transmitted diseases), and later to death and posthumous suffering (or rebirth in a body burdened with disease). Attempts to use people's faith for other purposes (flirting secular authorities with the patriarchs, quoting sacred texts as calls for a war) have no connection with true religiosity.
