Knowing your own color can help in choosing the right clothes and creating a more memorable look. In order to determine your color type, you need to start by establishing the color of your skin.
You should find a patch of unburned skin and compare it with a blank sheet of white paper:
- in the event that the skin will differ in yellow or golden yellow hue, it means that warm tones suit you - you belong to the group "Autumn-Spring",
- if the skin has a blue tint, white or olive, then cold colors suit you - you belong to the Summer-Winter group.
Perform verification procedures in daylight, but not in artificial light, which greatly distorts all colors.
Before you determine your color type and go to the details, you should find out if you belong to the cold or warm type. This will reduce the search to 2 seasons. Put a white scarf over your shoulders and attach to your face, for example, first a beige (warm type) piece of fabric, and then deep pink (cold type).
If after the comparison procedure it turned out that you belong to the group of cold shades, then you need to determine whether you belong to the summer or winter class. To do this, you can use a fabric of white or black shade or the color of natural wool. If white or black tone suits you, then your color type is winter. But if the shade of natural hair gives your skin a healthy look, then you are of the summer type.
In the event that you are a representative of a warm group, it is worthwhile to find out if you belong to the autumn or spring class. If your type is "Autumn", then a fabric of a bright orange shade will fit with the features of your face. If the face is a pale pink tone - you belong to the spring type.
