The easiest way to subscribe to a newspaper or magazine is to contact the nearest post office for this purpose. However, it is often possible to do this directly through the publisher: on the publication’s website or at the bank details proposed by him. This method in some cases allows you to significantly save on the service of delivering fresh media numbers to your mailbox.

Instruction manual
1
Subscribing to publications by mail can be called the old-fashioned way, memorable from the Soviet era and popular to this day. Since then, nothing much has changed in it, except that there are more directories available.
To use it, you need to come to the post office during opening hours, find it in publicly accessible directories, fill out a subscription receipt and pay it in cash to the operator.
However, keep in mind that you pay not only for the publication itself, but also for its delivery to your inbox. And this service can make subscription less profitable than buying a newspaper or magazine at a kiosk.
2
However, many media outlets offer various alternative subscription options. Information about them is contained in the numbers of a particular publication, especially during the subscription campaign, and on its official website if there is one. Most often, the reader can cut out a receipt from the number with all the necessary details and take it to the nearest bank, indicating in advance his address, period, on which is subscribed (usually from a few months to a year). A paid receipt must be sent by mail or brought to the publisher if it is in the same city where the reader lives.
3
Subscribers living in the same city where the editorial office is located can also apply directly there, and often pay in cash at its cash desk. The coordinates of the distribution department or other unit dealing with this issue and its opening hours can be found in the publication number or on its website.
4
It is not uncommon to subscribe to a newspaper or magazine directly on their official websites. In this case, the necessary information (subscriber’s address, subscription period, etc.) is entered in the form provided for this.
Payment is implied by credit card, but money can also be accepted from electronic payment systems and alternatives may be offered: by bank transfer, through terminals, etc. Some publications made reading and full versions of publications on their sites available only by subscription. They leave only announcements available to a wide circle of readers. In this case, you can most often subscribe to the electronic version on the website of the publication.
note
Any non-state publication, and quite a few state ones too, may unexpectedly close. In this case, you will need additional efforts to get your money back.
