The characteristic for the student for the draft board is filled in by the class teacher. Some military enlistment offices send out ready-made forms, which need only be completed. If you don’t have such a form, then you can write a description in the draft board for the student of the school in any form.

Like any document, write a characteristic on a standard A4 sheet using a pen with black or blue ink. Write the word "characteristic" in the middle of the sheet and indicate in the heading which class the student is a young man, school number, city, his last name, initials.

Provide general information about the student, indicate the surname, name and patronymic, date of birth, nationality on the passport. List the composition of the family: last names, first names and patronymics of father and mother, brothers and sisters, date and place of their birth, nationality, education. Note whether the family lives together, how well-off they are, whether there are registered mental illnesses, and if any of the family members suffer from alcoholism.

Write about how this student is politically mature and civilly conscious, whether he is interested in events in the world and how correctly evaluates them. Mark his participation in sports and other competitions, contests, public works and events. List the sections in which he is engaged.

Tell us how the young man studies, what courses he attended or attends. List the items for which he has a rating of "excellent", "good" and "satisfactory", highlight those of them to which he is particularly interested.

Describe the attitude of his comrades, the collective of the class. Tell us how active he is and whether he enjoys authority, whether they listen to his opinion, what kind of relationship this student has with teachers.

List his individual psychological qualities, how observant he is, we teach him how well developed his memory and reaction are, how he behaves in difficult situations, whether he is able to collect or bad habits, whether he drinks alcohol or smokes, whether he was brought to the police.

Make general conclusions about the student, write about whether, in your opinion, he is suitable for military service, indicate the recommended type of troops. Indicate that the characteristic is given for submission to the draft board.

Sign the testimonial with the class teacher, school principal and teacher of life safety. Sign the document and certify the signature with the school seal.
