Teamwork is sometimes complicated by unexpected gossip. Often they stem from "intimate" conversations with colleagues. Gossip is far from always just a “sharing of information": often they cause irreparable damage to the image of the employee being discussed, and can also cause anxiety and even dismissal.

Instruction manual
1
Every day, having crossed the threshold of an office, throw personal worries out of your head. Only do work. If it is difficult for you to get rid of annoying thoughts, then just do not give the appearance that you have any problems. Only discuss work issues.
2
Do not talk on the phone about personal matters in the presence of colleagues. If possible, leave the room in which you can be heard, if not, limit yourself to general phrases in the conversation. Speak calmly, quietly, briefly. Remember that any information regarding your life may be used against you.
3
During the lunch break, be vigilant and resist the temptation to tell colleagues about personal matters. Often, employees, relaxing from the warm atmosphere that prevails at the table, begin to share their joy or sorrow. It seems that everyone around is kind and sweet, and the secret will not go beyond the kitchen. It is not necessary to speak at the table on working topics, but personal ones are also not worth it. If it’s hard for you to pick a neutral topic, then just have lunch.
4
On the corporate party, do not lose the sense of reality. Control the amount of alcohol you drink. Watch your behavior and words. It is likely that the next day in the office information about how you behaved at the celebration will be presented in a distorted form. Do not forget that you are surrounded by colleagues, not friends, and therefore behave with restraint.
5
Do not take part in gossip and try to maintain good relations with colleagues. Be careful in conversations regarding leadership: if you think that the boss is not very well versed in your business, keep your opinion to yourself.
6
If you notice that people around you feel worse about you, try to find out the reason. Often, gossip, to harm, sink to slander.
