Every day, thousands of people ask the Holy Matron for help. Many not only pray in front of the icons, but also come to the relics and the grave of the saint. Believers say that Matron’s mother herself will tell the way to those who need her. The relics of the Matrona of Moscow are in the Pokrovsky convent, in the left aisle of the Pokrovsky church. For pilgrims, the visiting time is set: from 7 to 20 hours, on Sunday from 6 in the morning. On Easter and May 2 (Matrona Memorial Day), pilgrims are allowed round-the-clock access. The monastery is located at: Moscow, st. Taganskaya, 58, at the intersection of three large Moscow streets: Nizhny Novgorod, Taganskaya and Rogozhsky shaft.

The monastery can be reached by public transport and car. You can take the metro and get off at Marxistskaya station, walk to Taganskaya street and get to the Abelmanskaya Zastava stop by bus number 51 or trolleybus number 16, 26, 63. You can also take the metro to Ryazansky Prospekt and Papernika on 63 or 463, trolleybus 63 or bus 51. If you exit at Ploshcha Ilyicha station, then you can continue to the Abelmanskaya Zastava stop. Coming out at the Abelmanskaya Zastava stop, you need to pay attention to people who come with flowers. They can not be overlooked, they are all from different metro stations heading for help to St. Matron.

Matrona Moskovskaya was buried at Danilovsky cemetery, which can be reached in three ways: by car, metro to Tulskaya station and tram number 26 from Shabolovskaya metro. Those traveling by car need to get to Malaya Tula Street, turn onto Dukhovskaya Lane and, without turning anywhere, drive to the yellow gates of the cemetery.
4
Finding Matron’s grave is not difficult: immediately after entering the cemetery there is a small building, you need to turn right, after 10 meters there will be a sign "to the Matron", follow it (walk about 5-6 m). The grave resembles a small crypt, it is guarded, and a woman is always on duty nearby, who looks after this place and distributes sand to all who came to St. Matron. It helps to find happiness and harmony, relieves pain and strengthens faith in God.
note
It’s better to come to the relics of St. Matrona on weekdays, on the weekend there are several times more, you can stand up to 6 hours. If you come with a child, then you can skip the line to a large icon and relics.
