Today it is difficult to believe that the experimental model of a personal computer, created by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in 1975, was rejected for its commercial futility. After all, this is something without which it is difficult to imagine the modern world thanks to the now huge corporation called "Apple", which was once created in an ordinary garage by the same two Steves, young talented engineers.

"Apple" - a new word in the world of computers
Apple was founded on April 1, 1976, when it was officially registered. It is curious that the largest computer and other personal equipment company in the world was created on Fool's Day, reflecting the very eccentric nature of its creator, Steve Jobs.
In preparing to introduce the first computer model that his close friend Steve Wozniak helped him create, Hewlett-Packard management did not expect Jobs to call unflattering reviews, but he did not give up his idea. To release his brainchild, he founded the company "Apple". This name was chosen for two reasons. First, Steve only ate fruit, his favorite apple being ("Apple" in English. "Apple"). Secondly, in the telephone directory it came before all possible competitors.
The third in the company of young engineers was Ron Wayne, who worked at that time at "Atari". The guys were both developers and assemblers, as well as a delivery, advertising and marketing service. The latter was the most difficult thing. Jobs phoned almost all the shops in his city of Cupertino (California), but in the end he found a customer. They became Paul Terrell, who went down in history as the first and last boss of Steve Jobs.
For the sale of "Apple I, " Jobs set the price at $ 666.66. This computer was still not like modern “personal computers, ” it was just a connection of several boards, to which you still had to connect power, a monitor and a keyboard. The first batch of goods consisted of 50 units. On the 12th day of the company’s existence, Ron Wayne left her, and two Steve were left alone again. To get all the necessary details and to be on time, the guys made a lot of debts and worked literally 24 hours a day.
A total of 600 Apple I computers were sold and, inspired by fast sales, the young engineers set to work on the new Apple II project, which appeared in the form that everyone knows today - clad in a molded plastic case, with a monitor, keyboard and with the mouse. Despite the success of the sales, large businessmen were in no hurry to finance the project, but the tireless Jobs managed to find venture capitalist Mike Markula, who invested about 100, 000 of his own money in the young company and secured her a credit line in Bank of America for $ 250, 000.
