Igor Gordin devoted almost all his theatrical life to the stage of the Moscow Youth Theater, which became practically his second home. According to the actor himself, it was "under the leadership of Ginkas and Yanovskaya that he was ready to play any heroes."
And in the end, his talented game was confirmed by the Moscow Premiere and Seagull Prizes. In 2004, he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia.

On May 6, 1965, a future artist was born into a family of physical engineers in a city on the Neva. Despite the desire of the parents to see the son of a future nuclear physicist, Igor from youthful years showed a craving for the world of acting, although he hid it from the household. For example, he did not tell them that he went on stage at the Theater of Youthful Creativity in his school years.
After receiving a certificate of secondary education, he nevertheless graduated from the Polytechnic Institute at the insistence of his parents, although he tried to enter the LGITMiK after the third year, but due to the lack of necessary documents in the selection committee, he could not pass exams of a general educational nature. However, the career of a nuclear physicist was interrupted in 1989, when he nevertheless arrived in Moscow and entered the legendary GITIS. Here he gained professional skill from the director of directing, Irina Sudakova.
Igor Gordin received his first theatrical experience as a student on the stage of the Youth Theater under the direction of Kama Ginkas and Henrietta Yanovskaya. And in 1993, he spent one theatrical season as part of the troupe of the Sovremennik Theater, after which he returned to the stage of the Youth Theater. Since 1994, his professional portfolio has regularly been replenished with theater projects, among which I especially want to highlight the performances: “Romantics”, “Execution of the Decembrists”, “Foam of Days”, “Pushkin. Duel. Death”, “Witness of the Accusation”, “Lady with a Dog ", " Meek ", " Medea ", " Caligula "and others.
Igor Gordin made his debut in cinema in 2002 with the action movie Alexander Proshkin "Trio". And two years later in the film "Children of the Arbat" he loudly declared himself to the entire cinematic community. Today, his filmography includes four dozen film works, among which his best film projects include The Death of an Empire (2005), The Fate Schedule (2006), The Saboteur: The End of the War (2007), The Crime Will Be Revealed (2008), Ivan the Terrible (2009), Diamond Hunters (2010), Who, if Not Me?
